Refund policy

We want you to love every bar that lands on your doorstep. If something isn't right, here's how we'll make it right.

The Short Version

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging
  • We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products
  • Exchanges are not offered — return for a refund and place a new order
  • Refunds are issued in USD to your original payment method
  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility (except for defective items — see below)
  • No restocking fees
  • U.S. Canada customers only

Return Window

You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to start a return. After 14 days, we're unable to accept returns or issue refunds. The delivery date on your tracking number is what we go by.

What Can Be Returned

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • New and unused — bars must not be lathered, cut, or used in any way
  • In original packaging with all labels intact
  • Purchased directly from SouthernLuxeSavon.com (not from a third-party retailer)

For hygiene reasons, we can't accept returns on items that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery (unless the damage happened in transit — see below).

How to Start a Return

Returns are handled by email. Here's how it works:

  1. Email us at hello@SouthernLuxeSavon.com within 14 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number, the items you'd like to return, and the reason for the return. Photos help, especially for defective or damaged items.
  3. We'll reply within 24 business hours with return instructions and the address to ship to.
  4. Pack the items securely and ship them back. Hold on to your tracking number until your refund is processed.

Please don't send anything back before hearing from us — returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers cover the cost of return shipping for non-defective returns (changed your mind, didn't love the scent, ordered the wrong thing, etc.). We recommend using a tracked shipping service since we can't be responsible for packages that don't reach us.

If your item is defective or arrived damaged, we'll cover the return shipping. Just email us with photos, and we'll send you a prepaid label.

Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges right now. If you'd like a different product, the easiest path is to return your original order for a refund and place a new order whenever you're ready.

Refunds

Once we receive your return and confirm everything's in order, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days. The money goes back to your original payment method in USD, minus any original shipping charges (unless the return is due to a defect or our error).

Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a few extra days for the refund to actually show up on your statement. If it's been more than 10 business days since we confirmed your refund and you still don't see it, let us know, and we'll dig in.

There are no restocking fees — what you paid for the product is what comes back to you.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or you find a defect, we want to know right away.

  • Email us at hello@SouthernLuxeSavon.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.
  • We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund (your choice) — and cover return shipping if we need the item back.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. We can usually cancel and refund orders that haven't shipped yet. Once an order is on its way, we can't cancel it, but you're welcome to return it under this policy once it arrives.

Sale & Promotional Items

Items purchased on sale or with a discount code are eligible for return under the same terms — you'll be refunded the actual amount paid, not the original retail price.
